Despite the Corona pandemic, the Mannheim Maimarkt tournament has a top-class starting field. From Ludger Beerbaum, over Christian Ahlmann up to Marcus Ehning. All of them have traveled to Mannheim.


In the Youngster Tour on yesterday, Sunday, Prize of Wolfgang Zipperle, Ludwigsburg - In Memoriam Ilse Zipperle - a young man who rides for RV Mannheim himself stood right at the front: Richard Vogel. With the stallion "Carlchen S", bred by Hugo Simon, he prevailed over his competitors.
With the mare, also from the breeding of Hugo Simon, "Charisma HS", he also took 3rd place.
In 2nd place was the Swiss Pius Schwizer in the saddle of Carrick MB, an eight-year-old Holstein gelding.


In the run-in test for the U25 Jumping Cup, a young man from Sersheim was fast yesterday. Lucas Wenz was the best in the course with his 14-year-old mare "Pokerface BL".
Ulrich Hensel (PSV Breitenhaide-Ortenberg) on Europa H ranked behind Wenz. Sönke Aldinger (RSC Salzstetten) with the 12-year-old mare Marie-Luise came in third.


In the highest jumping of yesterday, a jumping over 155cm with jump-off, a Swede stood on top of the podium.
In the Maimarkt Championship of Mannheim won yesterday Peder Fredricson with the 15-year-old gelding "Catch Me Not S". In the jump-off he came to 36.47 seconds.
A good three seconds later, Irishman Mark McAuley crossed the finish line in 2nd place.
Best German was Christian Ahlmann in 3rd place.


Today it now continues at 10:00 (CET) with an international jumping over 145cm. Since no spectators are allowed on the grounds, ClipMyHorse broadcasts all tests live.
